Motorised blinds are often associated with luxury blinds, but there are now everyday home automation options that are cost-effective and easy to use. We offer a wide variety of control options so you can control your blinds remotely and choose the best electric blinds that work for you. Some blinds work with a simple remote and some can even be paired with smart home devices such as Amazon Alexa, Google Home or Somfy® TaHoma Smart Home system. However, if smart devices aren’t your cup of tea then there are other simpler options.

Since our blinds are entirely bespoke in measurements, fabric and control options the finish you choose is entirely up to you. Our helpful and experienced sales advisors will give you advice for what works best for you.

Popular Electric Blinds…

Large Blinds

Bi-fold door blinds can require several blinds if you install them onto the pane of each door. So, large free-hanging blinds, like roller blinds, that cover several doors at once are a great option if you would just like to control minimal blinds. However, blinds for large windows make for a larger roll of material and this can be controlled easier with motorisation.

Similarly, electric blinds for lantern roofs are popular due to the height of the glazing. We offer roller lantern roof blinds and Duette® lantern roof blinds for insulation and shading. People also tend to install motorisation for their apex window blinds as the blinds are high and large. Especially if they are for gable windows with a set of bifold doors below, which we can cover with just two apex window blinds that cover the gable and then extend over the doors below.

Conservatory Roof Blinds

Where there’s many smaller blinds such as a conservatory ceiling blinds, then it’s easier to control them all with a device rather than manually. This is same thought process can be applied if you have blinds in different locations in a room or all around your home. Popular conservatory blinds include our Duette® thermal blinds, for their insulation properties, and pure pleated blinds. Due to our decades of experience crafting conservatory blinds, we ensure maximum coverage and therefore less heat loss.

Wall-button controls – Just like a light-switch, you can operate your blinds with just a single press. These are customised so you can control your blinds in one zone separately or altogether should you wish.

The customisation of your motorisation doesn’t stop there. You can also control your blinds through solar-packs, battery-operated blinds or connect them to your mains. So, overall it’s not really about what the best electric blinds are but what the best electric blinds are for you.

Customer reviews

We struggled to find a company who could make a blind big enough for our orangery lantern. This company were able to make and fit a solar powered set of blinds for us. They were fitted quickly and are excellent. Dealing with this company was easy and their staff were all helpful and professional. I would not hesitate in recommending them.

We were delighted with this work, from the first sales call to the subsequent survey and installation. It all went extremely smoothly and we were impressed that the person who did the survey also did the installation, which we believe gave us the best possible result. Without any hesitation we would certainly recommend this company.

The blinds have made our conservatory so much more useful all year around. Less glare and heat in Summer / more insulated in Winter. They look great too. The service was great and they answered all our questions and provided excellent advice.
