Lantern roof blinds are an excellent way to control the temperature in a room, as well as reduce glare and protect your furniture from UV.

There are two main ways to fit lantern roof blinds: directly against the glass using shaped roof blinds, or across the bottom of the lantern using horizontal blinds. Both come with their own advantages, so it comes down to personal preference, and the layout of your roof lantern.

We are able to fit blinds to sliding doors in a conservatory so that they don’t interfere with the operation of the doors, while still looking like a neat and natural part of the room.

If your conservatory has standard sliding patio doors, where the moving door slides closely across the face of the fixed door, then you have two main options for how you can use blinds: a recessed blind fitted to the moving door, with free-hanging a blind fitted to the fixed doors, so that the only the moving doors slides behind them; or a free-hanging blind fitted above both parts of the door, so that the doors are able to slide freely behind the blinds.
