Firstly your contact has been really friendly, professional without being pushy and a credit to you, whilst keeping in contact at my request since about the end of June when the conservatory should have been finished.
I contacted two other national companies and also called you. You were the third company to visit us. We also asked two local companies to visit, but we cancelled those.
I have to say that the presentations from the other two were not a patch on you.
You were helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We had no idea that blind purchasing was such a minefield however you guided us through successfully without any explosions and we finally ordered 42 blinds.
You may be interested to know that one of the reasons that we wouldn't purchase from the other two companies was that they start at ridiculously high prices, presumably to gauge the response from the customer to see how far they need to drop. I do not like that way of doing business. Some people may be impressed with the size of the reductions but it is totally counterproductive with me.
You just measured up, we chose the blinds, you gave the price and, yes there was a little bit of haggling, but as a result of that we added a further 12 blinds to the order. Incidentally your main competitor quoted £900 more for our conservatory roof than you did. We cannot compare the cheaper company's price because they didn't quote like for like.
We were very, very pleased and eagerly awaited a superb product, successfully fitted.
I have also to say that you have by far the best web site for conservatory blinds. It is absolutely packed with useful information.
