Our Fleet of Bespoke Vans
Our fleet of vans is an essential element in our day-to-day operations. Our installation team uses these vans to fit blinds across the country; and it’s because of this we are constantly investing in new and updated vehicles. We now have 19 vans already in our fleet.
But the bespoke nature of the blinds we sell means that we cannot use the vans as-bought. We outfit all of our vans so they can store and transport all of the blinds and tools our installation team needs. These vans also have to account for the extremely large blinds we are able to fit; so we’ve designed them to allow these blinds to be easily stored while still giving easy access to everything else.
These customisations help speed up the installation process, and also ensures that our fitters have easy access to everything they need for each job. To make sure this level of quality is consistent wherever in the country you are, every single van in our fleet is outfitted in this same way.
Between the initial cost of the vans and the extra modifications we make to outfit it for our installation team, our fleet of vans shows close to £500,000 worth of investment.
Why Bespoke Vans?
But why put all of this effort into our vans? It’s another example of the attention and care to put into every aspect of our blinds. Because of how bespoke our blinds are, a lot of the tools we use to make and fit them need to be bespoke as well. This affects everything from the sales kits used by our sales team, to the equipment used in our factory in Ashford, Kent, and the bespoke apps and tools used by our installation team.This level of customisation allows us to make blinds that are like no other; which can cover shapes and sizes that standard blinds just can’t.
