We often encounter a variety of odd-shaped windows in homes around the UK and we do offer many blind options for you to cover these.

These windows include:

  • Small windows normally found in a lean-to conservatory
  • Triangular windows found in conservatories, bedrooms or above bi-folding doors.

Small windows

We often find small awkward shaped windows feature in many conservatory roofs and windows. However, because of the way they are shaped many blind companies leave them uncovered. We not only cover the windows, but assure that the blinds are a significant feature of the room instead of an afterthought. We are able to achieve this unique finish thanks to our years of experience in the industry and bespoke blinds.

Firstly, the fabric choice is important, not only to coordinate with the conservatory and décor of the room, but in terms of their performance and density. Regarding performance, some blind fabrics are effective at reducing glare, heat and cold – without darkening the conservatory. Additionally, our opted fabric density means that, unlike other fabrics, the blinds do not stack very deeply when retracted.

Secondly, only pure™ pleated window blinds can be recess fitted to the top and bottom of your glazing beads, creating a truly integrated appearance. This is absolutely essential in small conservatories. Small gaps can appear very obvious, and surface-mounting blinds will stand out into the room, making it feel much smaller if not specially fitted.

Thirdly, it is important that the hardware such as rails, mounting profiles and other visible components match the conservatory. Again, this creates an integrated appearance. We have number of standard hardware colours which will match most conservatories. However, we do also offer a bespoke service where customers can opt for a hardware colour which matches their conservatory perfectly.

Many conservatories have very narrow panes of glass, which most companies would leave uncovered. Yet, thanks to our pure™ technology we can manufacture, install and neatly recessed an operational blind for any sized window. Our pure™ pleated blinds also sit neatly over the glazing, this leaves the conservatory looking sleek with no gaps. Arrange a free quotation today by following the link in our bio or call us on 0800 071 88 88 ???? . . . . . #homedecorinspiration #homedecorideas #windowblinds #verticalblinds #pleatedblinds #chesham #interiordesign #windowcoverings #commercialblinds #woodenblinds #visionblinds #blinds #shutters #berkhamsted #hemelhempstead #conservatoryblinds #livingroom #interior #openplanliving #home #kitchen #homedecor #dreamhome #london #dining #duetteblinds #westbury #smarthome #homeautomation #mysmartblinds

Triangular Shaped Windows

Triangular shaped windows, also known as gable-shaped windows are becoming an increasingly popular choice in homes around the UK. We tend to find this type of window in conservatories, bi-folding doors and various rooms around the home. Triangular shaped windows are a great way to allow for natural light to flood into a home. However, this can sometimes cause issues with an unwanted glare, temperature control and privacy. This was the case with a recent installation; where a customer required blinds for triangular shaped windows that featured in their bedroom. Due to the large amounts of glazing, the sun woke up the customer very early in the morning.

We have specially designed blinds for triangular windows to tackle this problem head-on. For example, our blinds are neatly fitted into the recess of a window frame and are available in a range of fabrics including:

  • Duette® Gable Blinds
  • pure™ pleated Gable Blinds
  • Pinoleum Gable Blinds
