We’re at the National Homebuilding & Renovating Show
Posted: 5 Apr 2019
Last week Conservatory Blinds Limited attended the National Homebuilding and Renovating Show in the NEC in Birmingham, running from Thursday 28th March through until Sunday 31st March. This was the first time we have exhibited our unique ranges of blinds at a national show, so we chose the National Homebuilding & Renovating Show as it was a prestigious and well attended event – an excellent opportunity for many people to get a first look at the different blinds we offer.
With over 30,000 visitors attending the event over it’s 4-day period, it was an extremely busy show. Our sales team were constantly talking to visitors throughout all four days, with people being at different stages of build:
The early planning stage
Starting their new build
Those ready for our blinds right away!
those with projects still in the early planning stage to those who needed blinds right away.
Our stand came outfitted with full-size working examples of the blinds we offer. This included:
The neat lantern roof blind
Unique pureaspect™ Gable Blind
Our great roller blind – ideal for many situations.
We also had a full sales kit as part of the stand. This meant we were able to show even more examples of our fabrics and blinds.
We found that our pureaspect™ Gable Blinds were our most popular blinds at the show, with people being surprised and impressed with the neat way we are able to cover triangular shapes with just a single blind. At Conservatory Blinds we are proud to exclusively manufacture and install pureaspect™ blinds. Therefore, it was an excellent chance for a lot of people to see it in action for the first time.
Our lantern roof blinds and blinds for folding doors were also popular, and we were able to demonstrate how we were able to use our exclusive blinds designed for conservatories in these other areas of the home. One of the benefits of shows is it allows people to plan a project from start to finish. Consequently, many visitors found a supplier for lantern roofs or folding doors at the show for their home. Then came to our stand to discuss adding blinds afterwards.
Based on the success of this show we are looking to attend more exhibitions later in the year – watch this space for more information!
