A Keen Eye for Detail

A Keen Eye for Detail

These pleated blinds were fitted into a conservatory in Devon last month, and as you can see from the photos, the customer decided to use a lighter fabric to contrast the wooden colour of the conservatory frame. Apart from the obvious contrast of the fabric colour, the blinds otherwise look integrated into the frame of the conservatory. Part of this is due to the way our pure  Pleated Blinds are recess fitted into the frame, giving them an extremely neat look, but it's also down to our level of attention to detail.

The key part of what makes these blinds look like a proper part of the conservatory is the coloured rails that are used to fix the blinds to the frame. The rails are what the fabric of the blind is attached to, and are secured into clips that are screwed into the frame of the conservatory. In a lot of cases, these rails would be white to match the normal colour of a UPVC frame, but here we were able to use an alternate colour.

When you take a closer look at the blinds, you can see how closely the rails match the frame, making the blinds look like a natural extension of the frame. The rail colour here is Golden Oak, which is actually one of our standard blind rail colours, but if you have a conservatory that's a slightly more unusual shade we can powder coat these rails to any RAL colour for a small extra cost. Take a look at this conservatory, where we powder coated the rails to the custom colour "Pastel Turquoise" to match the frame:

This is a level of detail that only comes from being a true conservatory blind specialist. We have our own dedicated powder coating facility in our factory in Ashford, Kent, so we can paint rails and components various different colours to better match where they are being fitted.

All of this is just another reason why it pays to use true specialists, as the end result will be blinds that are a natual fit for your room.
