For instance, blind layout: you will almost certainly find that every sales company shows their blinds with an individual blind layout and translucent washable fabric. But, when it comes to your quotation, they will be specifying oversized blinds covering multiple panes of glass with a lower specification fabric, because they know it is much cheaper.
We don’t do this. We listen to what you want and advise on the best design layout (and explain why) as well as suggest the most suitable blind ranges and fabrics. We will draw your attention to tricky areas and recommend the best solution, so that you know exactly what we are proposing.
If you have solar glazing we will explain the best solution, and if you have a UPVC roof (especially those from Anglian, Everest and Ultraframe) we will explain the requirements of their guarantee.
Of course we can also provide you with a cheaper specification for the same design layout, blind range, fabric, guarantee and even use the same subcontract fitting as that used by the direct-sales companies, but it will inevitably be the same price-level that you have already been quoted.
