Vertical blinds in a conservatory

Vertical blinds in a conservatory

Vertical blinds in a Leicestershire conservatory. Ivory pleated blinds were chosen for the roof, gables and doors.

Vertical blinds are not designed to withstand heavy use, so recess fitted pleated blinds are ideal for the door, as they will not move in the wind, or become damaged by the doors or people walking through them.

Notice that on the external corners you can see behind the edges of the vertical blinds, which can allow additional glare and heat into the conservatory.

Vertical wood blinds

Vertical wood blinds

These 89mm wood blinds offer the quality and feel of wood blinds but in a vertical system - perfect for patio doors where wood venetians would be inappropriate.

The louvres are made from selected Basswood which is then machined and profiled to fit to the heavy-duty headrail and operating system. The cut ends are then treated to match the wood finish and help prevent moisture ingress.

These blinds were fitted as part of a larger conservatory blind installation.

Vertical blinds with pleated roof blinds. Surface fitted vertical blinds project out into the conservatory compared to recessed pleated blinds and so can look odd at some angles.
