Oak Leaf Conservatory Blinds

Oak Leaf Conservatory Blinds

Last week we installed the above pinoleum conservatory blinds within an Oak Leaf conservatory in Shropshire. In fact this photo was taken by the installer at the time - unfortunately it was overcast and raining outside.

If you have not seen our blinds before, these recess-fitted Pure™ pinoleum blinds are quite out of the ordinary. Unlike other companies we design and manufacture the actual components that go into our blinds, so this means that we can provide solutions that are completely bespoke to suit your conservatory and personal requirements.

Although the image only shows part of the conservatory, there are 28 shaped pinoleum roof blinds and 10 pinoleum window blinds – all completely recessed within the timber structure. Despite the shallow glazing beads and steep angle triangles, the blinds are all neatly fitted without unsightly gaps. No other blind system can achieve this level of installation without resorting to surface-mounted blinds that would smother the conservatory.

The customers wanted a stylish contemporary finish to what is a traditional design; one that maintained a clean horizontal line around the conservatory, with a contrasting colour that blended with their décor. We suggested Farrow and Ball Lamp Room Gray with a light grey braid on English Pinoleum, which has provided exactly the kind of appearance that was required.

The customers originally asked Oak Leaf Conservatories to recommend some blind companies to them, and they suggested three; one of which was Conservatory Blinds Limited.

Not only did we provide a truly bespoke solution backed up by technical advice from one of the country’s leading experts in pinoleum blinds within timber conservatories – not a salesman - but our quotation was a fair price from the outset. In fact the customers told us that...

“The first quote we had from a company that Oak Leaf recommended was an eye watering £15k”.

We have often thought about creating a number of 'case studies' for our web site; when we do, this would be a good example. So, if you would like to find out more about our truly market-leading conservatory blinds and friendly expert service, contact us for a free quotation.
