12 Years Old

Things have changed a lot since we first became a limited company; 12 years ago today... for one thing we are much, much bigger. There are now more than 40 staff working in the office, factory, sales and installation teams.

The market is completely different as well: back in 2000 conservatories were still fairly rare by comparison. Since then hundreds of blind companies have sprung up – all claiming to be conservatory blinds specialists.

Without doubt, the biggest change for us in that time has been the design and manufacturing of our own unique conservatory blinds system. Every other company that sells blinds for conservatories has to buy the components elsewhere – and these are not designed for British conservatories.

Had we not took the step to manufacture our own bespoke system so many years ago, and continued to develop unique technology, we certainly would never have grown to the size that we have.

Trading conditions remain tough in 2012 with some of the more desperate direct sales companies reaching new lows in respect of artifically cheap prices and misleading claims; nevertheless we remain successful and are growing which we believe is a testament to our honest, no-pressure approach backed up by market-leading conservatory blinds and a quality of installation that is literally unrivalled.
