New Member of Staff

This week we’ve welcomed on board a new member of our Contracts Management staff based at our offices in Ewell, near Epsom in Surrey.

Colin has worked for many years in a planning and support role for engineers and within the building trade, as a well as for the Prison Service. His organisational skills and customer liaison experience are perfect for the role of Contracts Manager within our office – ensuring that every order is fulfilled correctly.

In addition to providing essential support for our Operations Director, Installation Team and Customers, he will also be helping us to streamline our work and improving our efficiency so that we can continue to provide the very best conservatory blinds, and exceptional value for money.

This couldn’t come at a better time as we continue to expand our recruitment of the Installation Team, as well as at our conservatory blinds factory in Ashford, Kent… but also at a time when the summer weather seems to have finally arrived - with a vengeance.

The hot weather will certainly mean that we will be even busier and the poor installers need as much support as we can provide, given the heat inside conservatory roofs can easily exceed 100 degrees.

We have found ourselves stretched in the Contracts Department over the past year particularly, but because the economy has been in recession we have avoided recruiting extra staff until now.

Obviously it will take Colin some time to be trained in all of the technical aspects of our work, and some of this can only be learned from experience, but we feel sure that he will adapt and quickly become an asset to the Company.
