With desperate retailers offering such cheap prices for blinds at the moment, and even the Direct Sales companies offering preposterous discounts of up to 75% if you buy “on the day”, now is the time to use our Lowest Price Guarantee.

Not only does our Lowest Price Guarantee mean that we will beat any genuine quotation by up to 10% of the difference for an identical specification, but it also exposes the supposedly cheaper quotation to closer scrutiny where you often find that you have been deceived…

Is it in writing? 
Our Lowest Price Guarantee requires the “cheaper quotation” to be in writing… not a strange request, and this ensures that you know what you are being quoted for. Most of the time these quotations have not been made in writing, or are so vague that they could mean anything.

How many blinds?
Are you comparing the same number of blinds, or has the other company quoted for a doubled up blind layout. Nearly all the time you will find that, whilst they give the impression of having quoted for an individual blind layout, this is not actually true.

Which blinds and fabric?
As we have discussed previously, most retailers will not actually specify the full details of the blinds and the fabrics. They will often show a basic blind and discuss relative performance of fabrics, but will not tell you exactly what blinds you are getting, how they will be fitted, and will always push you towards a cheap fabric when it comes to preparing a quotation.

How long is the guarantee?
They will always tell you that they have a 5 year guarantee, but this is often not true. All Direct Sales companies and most retailers offer a 12 month guarantee, but will come out for up to 5 years if you pay them a visit charge.

Always ask for a written quotation that details the proposed order so that you can actually understand what they are quoting for and then compare quotations. You will be amazed at the difference between what you thought they were quoting for and what they are actually offering.

If you receive a lower quotation for a specification that you find acceptable, tell us.
