‘Wintery and unsettled weather’ Expected for This Evening

15 December 2011 Conservatory Blinds Ltd

The Met Office has issued a warning for ‘Wintery and unsettled weather’, predicting strong winds and heavy rain starting from this evening and lasting into Friday as a storm comes in from the Atlantic.

They do hope that the majority of the gale force winds will be directed over the English Channel itself and not areas of southern England, but that still raises the risk of possible frost and icy weather as the cold air mixes with the rain. While Wales and parts of central England will avoid the storm, they are under threat of heavy snowfall on Friday morning.

It’s impossible to tell exactly how these various weather conditions across the country will disrupt road travel across the country and affect our conservatory blinds installers. Rest assured that as and when delays happen we will keep you up to date and let you know of any disruptions to our normal service.

While this influx of wintery weather may cause disruption, we have so far thankfully been spared the problems of last year, where heavy snowfall from late November caused severe delays for our installers and caused our office to run with reduced opening hours.

Keep checking our regularly updated Conservatory Blinds News for further information about any disruption to our services caused by the weather.
