Severe Road Delays in Surrey and Kent

Following an incident on the M25 resulting in a serious diesel spill at J8 (Reigate) the M25 has been closed and diversions set in place, but there are 19 mile tailbacks.

The BBC is reporting delays of up to 3 hours at the moment, but further delays are possible across Surrey and Kent due to the disruption.

If you are in Surrey or Kent and are expecting an appointment from one of our conservatory blinds installers today, please be aware that there may be severe delays and we may even have to postpone your appointment.

We will contact you if we believe that you are affected.

Ironically, this is just a few days after the government marked the 25th anniversary of the M25 and the Roads Minister claimed it as a significant milestone in the evolution of one of Europe's busiest motorways.
