Bank Holidays

As Easter is so late this year and there is an additional bank holiday due to the forthcoming Royal Wedding, there are some “short working weeks” ahead.

Bank Holidays - Spring 2011
Good Friday 22nd April
Easter Monday 25th April
Royal Wedding 29th April
May Bank Holiday 2nd May

This means that this will be a 4 day week, and next week will just be a 3 day week (which must be the first time since the “Winter of Discontent” in 1978/9).

In short, we have 5 bank holidays in 6 weeks, which amounts to the loss of a week during one of the busiest periods of the year.

As this has coincided with some beautiful Spring weather, with temperatures as high as 28 degrees, then this has not helped!

Obviously we are not alone, so this will be the same for everyone.

Whilst we will obviously do our very best to ensure that any orders are unaffected, please bear with us during this very busy period. Any delays will only be a matter of a few days (if at all).

If you are considering buying conservatory blinds then we would strongly suggest that you contact us now, especially if you are unlikely to place your order immediately, as the lead times for manufacture will be likely to increase over the next few weeks as new orders increase to their maximum.
