January Sale - no extra VAT and up to 50% off

We are offering amazingly low prices in our conservatory blinds sale in January. Not only are we NOT adding the extra 2.5% for VAT but we are also offering up to 50% off RRP for selected fabrics.

Why do we only offer these low prices in a January Sale? To be honest we don't always. Whenever we are entering what is perceived to be a slow period for new orders we will provide a special offer only available for a limited time.

Approximately 18 months ago there was a huge decrease in consumer spending (nothing to do with conservatories and blinds - it extended arcoss the UK economy) which lasted for over 3 months, so for the final month we offered literally cost price deals. Anyone taking advantage at that time received fantastic value for money, but we obviously cannot afford to sell at those prices all year round. Even today we still have people contacting us who had a quotation at that time!

Why do we do this - it's not as if we have any ready-made products? True and this is why we generally avoid these kinds of offers, but as we are unique in that we actually employ our staff (rather than just pay them commission) then we sometimes need to enourage extra sales to keep them busy.
