Pleated Blinds Tested to Extremes

Following on from yesterday's news (Pinoleum Roof Blinds Tested to the Extremes) we have added news on our extreme testing of our Pleated Blinds.

To test the durability of our pleated blinds we made a roof blind 3.5m wide (over 11') using the heaviest fabric (Duette Oscurax) and simulated 5 years of use.

Despite being over twice the width recommended for a rectangular blind, it not only survived the test, but performed extremely well.

Of course oversized blinds are not ideal and are certainly not a practical solution to conservatories, so why do we do this? We test all of our blinds so rigorously to prove that despite our blinds being neat and attractive, they can also outperform any other blinds in durability.

Duette Oscurax is a dense blackout fabric with a cellular construction and integrated reflective layer within the cells. Because the cording holes are concealed, it makes an ideal blackout blind.
