Pinoleum Roof Blinds Tested to the Extremes

Here at Conservatory Blinds Limited we not only test all of our blind ranges to ensure that they conform to our gurantees and recomemnded criteria, but we have gone one step further with our pinoleum roof blinds...

Some time ago we decided to test just how wide pinoleum blinds can be made and so used the maximum fabric width of approx. 2.44m (8 feet) of the heaviest weave possible and then added solar lining to make the blind as heavy as possible.

Despite its huge width, drop and weight exceeding the maximum size, we have successfully tested this oversized pinoleum roof blind to simulate 5 years use.

This means that the blind has been tested to simulate it being operating twice a day for 5 years, totalling 7,300 operations on a blind that is over 50% wider than the maximum recommended width for a rectangular blind of 1600mm.

Whilst the blind obviously had signs of wear and the size is wholly impractical, it  proves the high quality and extreme durability of our conservatory blinds.
