Conservatory Blinds Limited Record Sales

Whilst many other blind retailers are suffering one of their worst years, here at Conservatory Blinds Limited we are enjoying a record month compared to 2009.

2010 started slowly but now looks like a record year, with this June already outselling June 2009 by nearly 50% - still with a week to go. The biggest increase in sales has been in our SOLO remote control blinds and Solar Design pleated roof blinds.

Part of this may be due to slightly better weather, but we have a noticed a large number of customers with solar glazing on their roof now also buying roof blinds, whereas last year they were only ordering window blinds - hoping that the glass would cut down heat and glare.

Obviously solar glazing does work, but nothing like many double glazing salesmen say. Here is an example of a conservatory with solar roof glazing where we installed window blinds in March 2010. The roof was already allowing in far too much glare for comfort, even then.

Genuine purpose-designed blinds for conservatories do so much more than cut down the heat at the height of summer - they eliminate glare and prevent fading from UV, provide privacy and significantly reduce heat loss when it is colder.
