Lead Times for Conservatory Blinds Orders

Following a relatively slow January & early February we have now well and truly entered the busy period for conservatory blinds.

Since mid-February we have seen a significant and sustained upturn in orders and this has continued into April as the weather has improved. We can only assume that this will mean a greater increase in demand on our manufacturing and installation staff until the summer holidays in late July (when new orders traditionally tail off).

Our sales team are all working to full capacity and so are booking new appointments approximately 1 week or so in advance (sometimes sooner where customers can fit around current appointments).

Our factory are coping well with the continuing wave of new orders, but we can only work as fast as new surveys are carried out by the installation team.

We employ our installers and they represent the highest calibre of experience and skill in the conservatory blinds industry - bar none. Wherever possible we ask that all new orders are booked in around our existing commitments. If you cannot be flexible with your appointments for survey then this may slightly delay the lead time for manufacture & installation.

Unlike other companies we will not employ the services of subcontract blind fitters unless specifically requested by customers and only on very simple installations.

Also unlike many people claiming to sell conservatory blinds, we always quote genuine lead times and do everything we can to meet these. Please be very sceptical if people claim very short timescales, as it probably means that they are misleading you or aren't conservatory blinds specialists and so don't know what's involved.

If you are keen to have your conservatory blinds installed soon then please order now, as the likelihood is that it will get even busier and so lead times for new orders may have to be extended.

For most orders we are still working on the basis of 3-4 weeks installation from survey.
