Environment: Envronmental Issues of Conservatory Blinds
When offering suggestions based on environmental issues we consider both manufacture and the customer’s benefit of owning the conservatory blinds.
We have an environmental policy for all aspects of our business and so there is a certain uniformity of environmental impact across many blind ranges, but if suggesting the best blind range “all round” we would have to say Solar Design pleated blinds.
Why? Because they are the most popular (and so have huge savings in transport) as well as having the lowest wastage by far. Whatever “waste” is left is almost completely recycled and the fabrics are donated to local schools and nurseries.
The saving to you is that the blinds can be left “out” all the time (without darkening your conservatory or adjoining rooms) and provide a great insulator against heat loss and heat gain (so reducing the need for extra heating or cooling).
