What is your advice regarding fabrics?
The best method of comparing fabrics is to listen to the advice offered by the retailer and quite frankly, to use your common sense. If you are confused by the differing opinions of what you are being told – ask them all to put it in writing – this should also weed out those that have exaggerated their claims.
Whoever you ultimately purchase your blinds from, bear in mind that most retailers favour one blind type over every other and this could be because it is their sole product, or because they make more money by selling that range as opposed to any other. This is not always true, but is more common than you may imagine.
Truly independent retailers with sufficient experience should advise you based on the technical requirements of your conservatory and the feedback that you give them.
Always make sure that the advice that you are given makes sense and that you have been sufficiently clear and honest to the retailer. Despite what may be claimed, there is no such thing as a unique fabric which excels above all others in respect of performance.
