Do I Need Gable Blinds?
Gable blinds normally present a problem for conservatories, especially if you want them to be fully retractable.
Traditionally the solution has been to use roof blinds (which have wires fixed across the glazing) or a retractable corded blind that needs to be tied off on a cleat (very messy and unsafe but also leaves an unsupported area of fabric hanging down).
We have developed Solar Design pleated blinds to incorporate unique fully retractable Aspect™ gable blinds with SOLO™ remote control to create the neatest fully retractable gable blinds available.
These unique blinds retract completely leaving no visible cords or wires covering the glass whatsoever - and there is no loose fabric hanging down either.
Aspect™ gable blinds are also available with optional manual operation for smaller sized gables or where your gable has a very complex shape, such as those required for Amdega conservatory blinds.
