What power is required for remote control blinds?

Remote control blinds are powered by low voltage motors connected to a wall-mounted transformer which in turn is normally connected to an existing power 220/240v socket in your conservatory via a standard 3-pin plug.

We normally fit the transformer adjacent to your plug socket, but if you have another location in mind then you can ask your electrician to install a new plug socket, but please discuss this with your installer at survey first.

Beware of siting the transformer too far away as this may result in visible cabling or even voltage drop-off over exceptionally long runs of low voltage cabling.
